Our Story
The Cap Specialist For over a decade, Varsity Headwear has been dedicated to perfecting the craft of the baseball cap. By combining the finest materials from the world’s leading textile mills with a refined fit, we continue to develop high-quality headwear that stands the test of time. A VISION FOR THE PERFECT CAP It all started in 2013, when brothers Alex and Sebastian Salvesen Adams set out with the vision for the perfect baseball cap. Having grown up in Oslo, Norway with an affinity for baseball caps, the two were left longing for a higher quality cap that was distinguished by its fit and materials, rather than the logo over the brim. The brand began to take shape when Alex and Seb first produced a limited range of twill wool caps that they would sell to family and friends in a small space beneath their parents’ architecture practice in a side street in the Majorstuen neighborhood of Oslo. Following the first collection, they saw an opportunity to expand the range by sourcing fine fabrics suited to different seasons - introducing linen for summer, and merino wool and oilskin for winter. Since then, the collection has evolved to include over 25 unique textiles across our signature caps, as well as the same defining craftsmanship now found in our beanies.

A perfected shape
Ever since we started in 2013, we have meticulously focused on the details of our caps. With the knowledge that no head is alike, we have developed our headwear in extended sizes to ensure a perfect fit.

All of our headwear is assembled by our production partners in Vietnam and Estonia under our strict Code of Conduct, resulting in a product that both we and our partners can be proud of. We do not take shortcuts in the development of our products and are proud of the close relationships we have formed with our suppliers and factories. While we recognize the challenge of creating a completely sustainable product, our primary focus is to develop the best possible product that is made ethically and with a long life span.
